About us

Advancing & Innovating SPF Technology

At Solar-D Derma-Tech, innovation is at the heart of everything we do.

From our ground-breaking Vitamin D SPF Technology, to our modern and adaptive partnership models, through to our cutting-edge and progressive product development, we are revolutionising SPF skincare through leading innovation.

At Solar D, we wanted to change the SPF landscape and help people improve their lives with new technologies, whilst still protecting them with old ones. As over 1 billion people world-wide are considered vitamin D deficient and traditional broad-spectrum SPF was designed to screen out up to 99% of the UV light from the sun, including the UVB light we use to make vitamin D, we wanted to change the status quo.

Solar D’s Vitamin D SPF Technology was specifically designed and formulated to allow our bodies to naturally produce vitamin D without sacrificing the sun protection factor (SPF). Our mission is to offer all skincare with an SPF the chance to use our ground-breaking technology through private label and licencing opportunities.

Located in Sydney, Australia, Solar-D Derma-Tech has manufacturing capabilities in Australia and the US with distribution partners across the globe including leading Pharmaceuticals and well known cosmetic brands. See our Partners Page for more detail
